Take a visit to honour our Victoria Cross recipients.  Reflect at the ‘Honouring our Heroes’’ statues of Maygar, Burton and Tubb that stand tall at the VC Memorial Park in Euroa. Pay tribute to the sacrifice of Private Mactier at his statue, in a park named in his honour, in Tatura.

Stand in the Calder Woodburn Memorial Avenue as you travel Shepparton way and reflect on the need of one man to immortalise the sacrifice of his son and others like him. 

Gain a unique insight into military history at The Ossario in Murchison or the Tatura Irrigation & Wartime Camps Museum. Hear the stories of the Italian, German and Japanese prisoners of war detained during the Second World War. 

Be moved by the evocative Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Walk at Seymour. The Walk commemorates the service of all who played their part in what turned out to be a tumultuous part of Australia’s history.

Visit the RAAC Memorial and Army Tank Museum at Puckapunyal that collects, preserves and exhibits the history of Australian Light Horse and Armoured Corps. 

Soak up the history of the Australian Light Horse Memorial Park.  Follow the stories of the troops as they prepared for battle in the Great War and later in WWII. So many of them did not return.
