Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is only a short drive from Marysville. Not just a cross country skiing mecca, Lake Mountain is a complete winter playground. Visit in the warmer months and you can mountain bike, bushwalk, road cycle or just enjoy the spectacular view.

Close by is Buxton, known for its beautiful mountain vistas.  Renowned for the ‘Meeting of the Waters’, Buxton offers fantastic fishing opportunities.  While Taggerty, nestled in the Cathedral Valley is a paradise for lovers of nature.
